What if I get there early?

If you arrive before the start day, you can stay in our cabin or one of the surrounding cities. Our family cabin is just down the road and has a true Montana feel. Click Here to see photos of our cabin.

What boots should I wear?

Your feet are most important thing to take care of. Ankle support and a stiff soles are essential for hiking in the mountains. We recommend these brands. Kenetrek | Crispi | Salomon | Scarpa

I need a ride from the airport?

Please call ahead if you need to be picked up or dropped at the airport. We can not guarantee our availability for this service. If we can provide service for you, there will be a $150 round trip fee.

How should I prepare for my hunt?

With your new boots and a little weight in your backpack, start going on hikes or walks. Increase weight and distance every week or two. If you are the gym, lunges and split squats will help a lot.

What caliber rifle should I bring?

Always bring the rifle that you are most comfortable using. We would recommend calibers anywhere between a 270 Win - 300 Win Mag. With a bullet weight ranging from 130gr. to 180gr.

Do you offer meat processing?

We do not offer meat processing but we do have coolers to ice down your meat before you leave. If you wish to have your meat processed look for butcher shops in Kalispell and Missoula.
